Beste B-Sieten?

Hi there

bin neu hier und weiß nicht, ob dieses Thema bereits behandelt wurde - also sorry, falls ich etwas längst Abgeschlossenes wieder aufwärme! ;)

Auf den beiden "Best of"-Doppel-CDs sind ja einige B-Seiten zu hören, aber wohl bei weitem nicht alle. Daher würde ich gerne wissen, welche (raren) B-Seiten ihr noch besonders klasse findet.

Würde mich über viele Meinungen freuen!

Sehe ich auch so, allerdings finde ich die "One b-Seiten-Version" besser als die auf der Best Of.
Ansonsten noch Spanish Eyes.

Mir gefällt von der 80-90 Best Of "Silver and Gold" noch sehr gut. Vor allem, weil es auf "Rattle and Hum" noch live gespielt wird. Sonst gefallen mir noch "The Three Sunrises" und "Everlasting Love" ganz gut.
Die B-Seiten von 90-00 sind allerdings nicht so sehr gelungen. Sind ja oftmals nur Remixe.

Ja ehm Spanish Eyes gefällt mir auch sehr gut! Lady with the spinning head find ich nicht schlecht! Aber mir gefalllen aber die Remixe bei den B-Sides 1990-2000 nicht so gut!

Mmmmmh... außer Lady with the spinning head?
Summer rain, The Three Sunrises und Your Blue Room.
North And South Of The River finde ich auch nicht verkehrt.

Muss dir Recht geben Bono Vox! Mir gefallen die Remixe auch nicht so besonders. Da hatte ich mir mehr von versprochen :sad:
Aber man kann ja nicht alles mögen!

Ja, "Night And Day", gibt es auch als echte B-Seite, und zwar auf der "One"-Single. Diese Version von "Night And Day" ist der "Steel String Remix".

Die Version, die Du aber wahrscheinlich meinst, wo das Wenders-Video zugehört, ist (soweit ich weiß) nur auf dem Red, Hot & Blue-Sampler (Tribute to Cole Porter) zu finden.

Das Rolling-Stones-Cover "Paint It Black" (von der WGRYWHorses-Single) ist sehr gelungen. "Holy Joe", "Spanish Eyes", "Everlasting Love", "Silver And Gold", "Dancing Barefoot", "Touch", "Luminous Times"...
Und dann gibt's da noch dieses Instrumental-Stück "Viva Davidoff" auf der "Miss Sarajevo"-Single. Wie gefällt euch das eigentlich?

Die mit Abstand besten B - Seiten sind auf den Singles der Joshua Tree - Auskopplungen. Spanish Eyes, Walk to the Water, Luminous Times (Hold on to Love), Sweetest Thing und Silver & Gold finde ich absolut genial und hätten damals aus der Joshua Tree ein super Doppelalbum gemacht. Danach kam meiner Meinung nach nicht mehr allzuviel Tolles bis auf die Live - Stücke wie z.B. Love is Blindness, Please usw.

Wide Awake liegt vollkommen richtig: Die JT B-Seiten sind DIE Knaller! Ich würde zu gerne wissen, was aus dieser Zeit noch in den Archiven schmort! Dazu kommt auf jeden Fall noch "SWEET FIRE OF LOVE" vom Robbie Robertson Album (Keine B-Seite, ich weiß aber ein absoluter Hammer-Song), der in etwa zur gleichen Zeit wie die JT Songs entstanden ist!
